Film is Fun was created by LA based cinematographer Owen Markham after spending 6 months on the South Island of New Zealand working at a film Lab. Although always interested in lighting and composition with photography, it was here he developed a passion for film photography. By shooting, developing, and scanning film every day, Owen learned what made film film, on a level deeper than the typical film photographer would be able to. It was a privilege to work so closely with film, and he hopes to spread the passion for film to all kinds of photographers.
